Testimonials; you wont find them here!

Testimonials are great, especially if you are going on holiday. Many Hypnotherapists will post success stories across their website pages and, I suppose that it is good for business.

The problem is, therapy should be confidential. Its a breach of confidentiality to post your before and after pictures on my site in order to promote your weight loss. And, I am certainly not going to start talking about how bad your anxiety was before you came to see me.

Sure, a therapist could post a testimonial by an anonymous client but how on earth would you know that it is true?

My training school, the NCHP, forbid the use of testimonials for these reasons. I follow a strict ethical code which is outlined by the UKCP ethical guidelines. So unfortunately, that means no testimonials.

If you find that our sessions are beneficial then I would love to hear from you. I love knowing that my clients have achieved their goals but this wont be forced from you and I wont be publishing it.

The road to success doesn't always run in a straight line.

What about success rates?

Okay, so again, I am up against a whole range of other Hypnotherapists who will boast a 100% success rate and you will stop smoking FOREVER in half a session flat.

My question is this: How do you measure your own success?

All of my clients are different and every therapy session is tailored around them. Some clients want to be able to go in the garage knowing that their might be a spider in there. Others, want to hold a spider without experiencing a phobic reaction. Many of my clients want to deal with their pasts, move on and break away from toxic habits.

I have made a graph to show you that during your sessions, you might go up and down (you might not) but generally as long as we are moving in the right direction then everything is going okay.

I truly understand what it means to be in a dark place and it is very easy to get caught up in the idea of a quick fix. But you should know that therapy is a process. Some clients need one session and some need more. It really depends.

I believe that you already have what you need to make the changes that you want to see. You can get there!

I will work with you and plan sessions that are tailored to your problems, goals and ambitions. If you are ready or want to find out more then please contact me. I would love to talk to you.
